The Assisteens^® of Orange program is very popular and consequently we have more teens interested in joining each year than spots available.  Openings usually occur as Seniors graduate out of the program.  We maintain a waitlist and new members are invited to join once a year as openings occur.  Generally in January for the upcoming year,  we will be contacting those teens whose place on the waitlist puts them into position to be included in the invite to the mandatory Prospective New Member Meeting for parent/guardian and prospective Assisteen.  Assisteens calendar year is June - May. 

Teens are accepted into the program during their 8th, 9th, and 10th grade years. Special arrangements may be made for the 11th grade year.  Depending on the waitlist, it may be possible for teens to join as early as 7th grade.
